Our ministry of the month is COLT, a small, creative, co-ed program in Western Montana. The above picture is the home and administrative headquarters for the ministry. Christian Outdoor Leadership training, "COLT", has administrative headquarters and a base camp located west of Missoula, Montana on the Alberton Gorge of the Clark Fork River at Tarkio. The home base is isolated by state and forest service lands that surround the facility. This isolation provides a measure of security and plenty of room to carry out their activities such as hiking, biking, backpacking, snowshoeing, or riding horseback over more than a hundred miles of public land. This location is also at the end of a well-known whitewater section of the river, which provides whitewater rafting and kayaking upstream and canoeing downstream.

My wife and I have felt the Lord moving us in a direction that takes us into the mission field. The second directory includes a comprehensive database for each home that will help facilitate the decision making process. Safe Harbor Boys Home is a residential academic and vocational facility that serves troubled, at-risk boys ages 15 - 17.
